Johnny Wactor: 4 Suspects Arrested in ‘General Hospital’ Actor’s Murder

California authorities said on Thursday that they arrested four people for May’s shooting death of “General Hospital” actor Johnny Wactor.

Robert Barceleau, Sergio Estrada and Leonel Gutierrez, all 18, were reportedly linked to Wactor’s murder after their fingerprints were recovered from a floor jack that was used while trying to steal Wactor’s catalytic converter. Law enforcement sources told the Los Angeles Times that the arrests came as they investigated Florencia 13 gang members for catalytic converter thefts in the area.

A fourth suspect, Frank Olano, 22, was arrested for being an accessory to the May 25 murder.

Wactor, 37, was fatally shot in the chest after he caught some men taking the catalytic converter from his car outside of Level 8 Night Club in Los Angeles, where he worked. The suspects fled in a vehicle after the shooting.

“When Wactor arrived at his vehicle, he was confronted by three individuals who had Wactor’s vehicle raised up with a floor jack and were in the process of stealing the catalytic converter,” Los Angeles police said at the time. “Without provocation, the victim was shot by one of the individuals.”

KNBC reported that the arrests came as police executed a search warrant for Olano. The four suspects remain jailed on a $2 million bond.
