Arrest Made in Double Murder of Maryland Grandmother and Granddaughter

An arrest has made made in the brutal murders of a grandmother and her granddaughter in Maryland last month.

Bryan Cherry, 36, has been charged with two counts of first degree murder in the deaths of Iona Sellers, 75, and Autumn Harvey, 29, who were found dead in Middle River on July 8, after police responded to a call for a welfare check, WMAR reported.

Sellers and Harvey died from blunt force trauma. Both women were pronounced dead at the scene.

Court records show that Cherry has also been charged with an attempted murder a murder in Baltimore, WBFF reported.

He is being held without bail.
