Ohio Man Arrested After Woman’s ‘Badly Decomposed’ Body Found in Alley Trash Bin

Police in Ohio have arrested a man in connection with the death of a woman whose body was found in an alley trash can last month.

The Middletown Division of Police said that Perry Hart, 59, has been charged with aggravated murder in the death of 35-year-old Asiah Slone, WXIX reported.

Slone was was last seen on June 6, police said.

Her “badly decomposed” body, with two bullet holes in her skull, was found the trash bin on July 1, WXIX said.

Hart reportedly told police that someone else shot Slone and that he dragged the wounded woman down some steps before he “pointed the gun at her head, closed his eyes, and fired one shot striking her,” court documents say. After that, the documents say, she stopped moaning.

Hart appeared in court on Wednesday and was ordered held on a $1 million bond. Police said they are investigating a second suspect.
