BOLO: Missing At-Risk California Woman Last Seen at Mining Camp

Police are searching for a Sacramento woman who was last seen Monday morning at a mining camp near Nevada City.

According to the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office, 24-year-old Esmeralda Marie Pineda is missing and considered at risk. She was last spotted between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. at a mining claim camp near the middle fork of the Yuba River and Sweetland Creek in Nevada City.

At the time, Pineda was wearing a black sweatshirt, floral-patterned leggings, tennis shoes, and carrying a black Swiss backpack, CBS News reports.

She is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing 169 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
