An Alabama woman could face additional charges in the death of her boyfriend, who was reportedly found dismembered last Tuesday.
Benito Guzman was found mutilated in a car parked in Fadette on August 27. Joselina Lopez is believed to have dismembered and beheaded Guzman with a chainsaw before dumping his remains in the vehicle, according to WDHN.
The news outlet reported that Guzman vanished days before his body was discovered.
While Lopez is charged with first-degree murder, she could face additional charges as Guzman’s autopsy is pending. A motive remains undisclosed.
Lopez remains jailed without bond.
