A Florida woman was arrested in June for allegedly leaving her 3-year-old son unattended while she underwent a cosmetic procedure.

WSVN recently obtained bodycam footage which shows Doral police arresting Jessica Renteria, 25, on June 27 after finding her son wandering around the Apex at Park Central complex. Surveillance footage reportedly showed the child alone at the complex for hours with a cellphone.

“Hello, by any chance, are you missing a kid?” an officer is filmed asking one resident while canvassing the complex.

Bodycam footage later showed Renteria in handcuffs after undergoing cosmetic surgery. According to WTVJ, she claimed a friend was supposed to be watching her son, but the friend said that was not the case.

Renteria and her son were reportedly staying at an Airbnb at the time of the incident. The surgery center where Renteria was at was located a couple miles away, WSVN reported.

Footage showed Renteria being taken to jail wearing a robe and head wrap.

Renteria is charged with child neglect. Though WSVN reported that an arrest warrant was tossed, her trial is scheduled to start on December 2.
