Maine State Police are investigating the death of a woman found Monday inside a parked car in Dayton.
Police received a 911 call around 3:30 p.m. about a body in a vehicle near Goodwins Mills Road, according to Shannon Moss, spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety.
The woman matched the description of Autumn Cleveland, 23, who had been reported missing from Newport News, Virginia, Boston 25 News reports.
Officials said the public is not at risk.
An autopsy will confirm the identity and determine the cause of death, New Center Maine reports.
