MISSING: Man Vanishes After Being Assaulted or Injured, Cops Say

Montana authorities are searching for a man who reportedly vanished under suspicious circumstances late last month.

KPAX reported that Edwin Loder, 67, was last seen on August 30 and may have been assaulted or injured. Sheriff Don Bell said evidence was located near his home on Timberlane Road east of Ronan, but he declined to disclose additional details.

Loder was described as standing 6 feet tall, weighing 165 pounds, and having blue eyes and brown hair.

KPAX reported that search efforts will continue on Thursday.

Anyone with information regarding Loder’s whereabouts is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff’s Office at 406-883-7301 or the Montana Missing Persons Clearinghouse at 406-444-2800.
