Mom Let Sex Offender Rape Her 10-Year-Old Daughter for $20: Cops

A sex offender from Nevada was arrested last week for paying a Utah woman to sexually assault her 10-year-old daughter.

KTVX reported that the victim’s 38-year-old mother has also been criminally charged in connection with this case. The mother allegedly filmed the victim and sent sexually-explicit videos to Chris Seamann via Kik, a messaging app, in exchange for money.

The mother reportedly told police that she and her daughter met with Seamann multiple times over five to six years. She admitted that Seamann most recently abused her daughter in Springville on September 3, according to KTVX.

Seamann — a registered sex offender — has a 1993 conviction for first-degree forcible sexual assault. He allegedly paid the victim’s mother $20 “per session,” in addition to a laptop, and $125 for the most recent assault.

Provo police started their investigation after receiving a cyber tip. KSL reported that the videos showed the woman sexually abusing her daughter.

“(She) said that he makes her do it and threatens her by saying something along the lines of ‘he’ll do what he needs to do.’ (The woman) stated that he’s never made any explicit threats. (She) told me that she’s been taking pictures and videos of the victim for years for (Seamann),” an affidavit stated. “(The woman) said that she wanted positive attention from someone that wasn’t bullying.”

Arrested in Mesquite, Nevada, on September 6, Seamann was charged with sodomy on a child, rape of a child, sexual abuse of a child, and lewdness involving a child.

The mother, who has not been publicly identified to preserve the victim’s anonymity, was charged with first-degree human trafficking of a child, aggravated sexual exploitation of a minor, sodomy on a child, and aggravated sexual abuse of a child.

Seamann is awaiting extradition to Utah, where he will face charges.
