A Pennsylvania man has been charged with raping a woman in early August and then stalking and harassing her afterward.
Chase Brumbach, 26, was charged with rape, stalking, and victim intimidation. He reportedly raped the victim on August 8 and then warned her via text not to contact police, WGAL reported.
According to a criminal complaint, the woman told him she was contacting police and he replied, “OK, we can go down that rabbit hole if you want. If you were smart, you wouldn’t.”
While East Cocalico Township police investigated the complaint, the woman said Brumbach repeatedly walked along her street for no reason and contacted 170 times over a two day period in mid-August, according to call logs.
According to WHP, Brumbach was ordered held on a $60,000 bond.
