A 4-year-old boy in Mississippi who vanished on Tuesday has been found dead in a lake near his home, authorities announced on Wednesday.
Darkhorse Press reported that Kaleb Jamison disappeared from his father’s apartment in Canton. Doorbell camera footage showed the boy, who is autistic, wandering from home before divers discovered his body near his home.
The FBI was present amid the search as they were ready to start kidnapping protocols.
Jamison’s death remains under investigation.
Police said, “This was not the outcome that we were hoping for. Everyone, please keep this baby’s family in your prayers.”
