A 23-year-old Ohio man has been arrested for the shooting death of his father early Sunday morning.

Painesville Police said they were called to the home just before 1 a.m. and found a 67-year-old man dead from gunshot wounds.

Without providing any details, police said the son was “detained at the scene” and taken to the police department. There, “he was interviewed and charged with murder.”

Police did not provide the names of either the victim or the suspect but said the killer will be arraigned Monday afternoon.
