A Virginia father has been charged with the death of his 1-year-old son.
Front Royal Police said they arrived at the home shortly after 2:30 p.m. to find emergency medical personnel preparing to take the infant to Warren Memorial Hospital, where the child was later pronounced dead.
Police continued their investigation and eventually brought in Nathaniel Lee Edmonds, 24, for an interview.
“Following a thorough investigation and consultation with the Warren County Commonwealth’s Attorney’s Office, Edmonds was charged with second-degree murder,” the department said in a statement.
Police declined to release any further information and asked anyone with information to contact them.
