A 19-year-old Georgia woman is dead and three other people — two of them teenagers — have been arrested for her murder.
The Gilmer County Sheriff’s Office said that Mallory Lyric Warden was found suffering from a gunshot in a vehicle on South Main Street in Ellijay on Wednesday night. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died.
Investigators determined that the shooting took place on a rural road in Gilmer County.
The investigation identified Gray Anthony McClure, 21; Robert Gabriel Shoilekov, 17; and Davonnte Lavon Brehon, 18; as suspects in the murder, and they were arrested on Thursday and charged with felony murder. An additional suspect, 19-year-old Anthony Jared Inestruza Whisnant, was arrested on Saturday, the sheriff’s office said.
McClure, Brehon, and Whisnant are being held in the Gilmer County Jail. It’s unclear where Shoilekov is being held, but it is likely the Gilmer County Department of Juvenile Justice.
Police have not released any details about what led to the shooting.
