A 31-year-old Mississippi woman has been charged with the death of her 77-year-old grandfather in Natchez.
Police said Pete Taylor’s juvenile grandson found his body Thursday night when he came home shortly after 10:30 p.m., according to the Natchez Democrat.

“This was an awful tragedy today,” said Adams County Coroner James Lee. “I continue to be baffled by these continuous incidents that I call avoidable. My heart continues to go out to these families.”
Taylor’s body has been sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for autopsy, he said.
Police provided no further details about the murder.
