San Antonio Man Detained for Questioning in Death of Woman Found Dead Near Walking Trail

Authorities in Texas have made an arrest in connection with the death of a woman who was reported missing on Sunday and found dead off a trail in a San Antonio park on Monday.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said that Marco Flores, 38, has been charged with evading arrest after he took off running when they told him they were going to take him in for questioning on Monday, KSAT reported.

Stacey Dramiga, 63, was reported missing when she didn’t return from her walk on Sunday morning, as CrimeOnline previously reported. Her body was found on Monday in a wooded area off a trail near Dafoste Park, about three miles from Covington Park, where she went to walk and where her car was found.

The sheriff’s office said that Flores knew details about Dramiga’s condition that had not been released to the public but did not provide any further information after his arrest.

An autopsy revealed that Dramiga, who was the director of the cardiopulmonary rehabilitation center at Brooke Army Medical Center, died from “blunt force, penetrating trauma of the head.”

It’s not clear if Flores will face further charges; he has not been charged with Dramiga’s death.
