A Putnam County, Florida, man has been missing for over two weeks, and his family is now offering a reward for information on his location.
Chad Mullens’ phone last pinged on September 10 near Stormy’s Stables, a horse rental shop in San Mateo. The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to Action News Jax that Chad Mullen operated the business.
Police searched the property on September 30.
His daughter, Holli Mullen, reportedly said she last spoke with him on September 9. She described him as an active father, noting that his disappearance is unusual.
“His birthday was this Sunday the 22nd and we were supposed to go out for his brother’s wedding in El Paso. He wouldn’t disappear, at least not right now. He wouldn’t do that and not call me,”
“I pray to God that he is OK, that nothing sinister did happen. I pray that he is safe.”
The Putnam County Sheriff’s Office said that Mullens’ business partner, Caylen Deller, 30, was arrested this week on unrelated charges of “grand theft of a commercial farm animal.” Police said the arrest is currently unrelated to Mullens’ disappearance.
Anyone with information on Mullen’s whereabouts should contact the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office.
