A 34-year-old pregnant Texas woman, reported missing in Bexar County earlier this week, has been found safe in Harris County.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office told KSAT on Saturday that Lacaya Bell was safe after previously reporting that her car was seen in the Houston area.

Bell’s mother previously said that she last saw her daughter on September 18 when she said she was going to meet with her ex-boyfriend, as CrimeOnline reported. Bell, who is four months pregnant, told a manager at McDonald’s about an incident that made her fear for her life.

The nature of that incident was not disclosed. Bell did not notify her job that she would miss work, which raised alarms in her family as she was recently promoted.

“He [Bell’s boyfriend] wanted her to meet him to talk about it, because she had left him, and he wanted her to come back,” the missing woman’s mother said.

According to KENS, Bell was located and was “being checked out” in Houston. No further details were released.
