A California woman was stabbed to death Friday and her boyfriend arrested for murder after the woman’s daughter called 911 to report the incident.
Simi Valley Police found 34-year-old Jessica Tinoco suffering from stab wounds to the face, chest, and abdomen. She was taken to Los Robles Hospital but did not survive.
Officers arrested 34-year-old Ramon Rivas, who also lived at the home. He was charged with murder and violating probation because he was on a post release supervision at the time.
Police did not say what the charges were in that previous incident, but jail records show a previous arrest on gun charges.
A family member of Tinoco told KTLA that she was a mother of five and that all five of her children witnessed the stabbing. The family members said she and Rivas had been involved for about two years but did not provide the ages of the children or say if Rivas was the father of any of them.
Jail records say Rivas is being held on a $595,000 bond but is not eligible for release without a hearing.
