An investigation is underway in New York after a baby was reportedly found dead in a restaurant bathroom on Monday.
Sources told the New York Post that the unidentified baby was discovered in a bathroom at Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine in Manhattan. It is currently unclear whether this is a criminal matter as it is unknown how the baby died.
The New York Daily News reported that Sophie’s Cuban Cuisine opens at 10:30 a.m. Police are investigating whether the baby was left there Sunday night or Monday morning.
