A 19-year-old Michigan man has been charged with sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl and her 12-year-old sister after he lied about his age and family situation to stay at the girls’ family home for several days.

Michigan State Police said that Ethan Dekalita told the family he was 14 and said he’d been abandoned by a family member, WJBK reported. He had met the 14-year-old girl on Snapchat and asked to visit for a day.

But when it came for him to leave, the predator told girls’ mother that a family emergency had come up and asked to spend the night. He ended up staying several days, and when the mother couldn’t contact his family, she called 911.

Troopers arrived and quickly determined the 14-year-old boy was a 19-year-old man who had been raping both children.

He has been charged with second-degree criminal sexual conduct, accosting a child for immoral purposes, and assault and battery, according to the Benzie County Record Patriot.
