Texas Art Teacher Caught Sexually Assaulting Student at Construction Site: Police

A 51-year-old San Antonio teacher has been charged with a felony after a report of “suspicious” activity involving a juvenile male student last week, according to the Comal County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the sheriff’s office, the incident occurred just minutes from the high school where the teacher, Jennifer Massey, of Selma, teaches art.

The incident came to light after someone called the police to a construction site at around 6 p.m. on Thursday.

According to court documents, the incident happened in the 22000 block of Citadel Point Ridge, which is near Davenport High School, where the defendant worked.

“The preliminary investigation revealed the two individuals engaged in sexual contact,”  police said.

People Magazine reports that the school subsequently put Massey on administrative leave while police investigated.

“The district does not condone inappropriate relationships between teachers and students. Ensuring the safety and security of our students is our top priority. We will continue to cooperate fully with law enforcement during their investigation.”

Massey remains behind bars, awaiting a bond amount.
