Police found a 53-year-old California woman dead on a highway the day after she vanished, in what they suspect was a hit-and-run.
KTLA reports that Lisa Culp, of San Bernardino County, left her Chino home early on October 4, police said. Her husband reported her missing at around 9:13 a.m. that same morning, according to a Chino Police Department.news release.
Officers discovered her 2010 silver Mercedes abandoned at a gas station near the Central Avenue exit off the 60 Freeway, in Chino.
“Chino Police personnel reviewed surveillance footage from the area and observed Culp walking away from the gas station in the early morning hours of October 4 and heading northbound on Central Avenue,”police said.
Police said the incident is likely a hit and run caused by a road rage situation between a dark Dodge Durango and a gold Cadillac.
The cause of the road rage is underway.
