Texas Man Charged With Stabbing His 68-Year-Old Mother to Death

A 30-year-old Texas man has been charged with stabbing his mother to death at their home.

Texas City Police said they were called to a Wendy’s fast food restaurant just before 8 p.m. Wednesday about a man at the store with “visible injuries” and arrived to find Johnathan Taylor, who told the officers he was robbed.

As officers continued to speak with him Taylor admitted that he had attacked his mother at their home not far away. Officers were sent to check on her, and found Regina McIntyre, 68, on the kitchen floor with multiple stab wounds.

She was taken by air ambulance to UTMB Galveston, whre she died shortly after 10 p.m.

Taylor received medical treatment for his injuries and was booked into Galveston County Jail on a murder charge. He’s being held on a $500,000 bond.
