Texas Teen Disappears, Spotted Twice Hours Apart in Area Where His Vehicle Was Found

Texas police are searching for a 17-year-old boy who was reported missing Monday morning in Comal County.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said that Carlos Vergara’s vehicle, a white Toyota Sequoia, was later found locked and unoccupied near a wooded area.

“Witnesses reported seeing Carlos this morning walking from the direction of Helotes” in Bexar County, the sheriff’s office said Monday evening. He was seen again at about 6:30 p.m. walking near the area where the SUV was found. He was not wearing a shirt at that time.

Vergara is described as 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 130 pounds with blue eyes and brown hair.
