10-Year-Old Boy With Possible Disability Still Missing a Day After Leaving Home Without Shirt, Shoes

Louisiana authorities are looking for a 10-year-old boy who vanished from his home on Sunday.

The Advocate reported that Brody Sturdivant left his Denham Springs home after having his game taken away. Livingston Parish Sheriff Jason Ard said the family claimed Sturdivant had previously left home for a few hours but never this long.

According to Ard, the family said Sturdivant also showed signs of having a developmental disability.

“He didn’t make the right decision after he was corrected for saying something he shouldn’t have said,” a family member told WBRZ. “I took the PlayStation and he thought it was the end of the world and so he split and that’s what happened, ok?”

Strudivant was described as standing 4 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 100 pounds, and having brown eyes and long red hair. He was last seen wearing red shorts without a shirt or shoes.

Anyone with information regarding Sturdivant’s whereabouts is asked to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225-686-2242.
