Police in Texas are continuing their search for a missing Wylie woman who hasn’t been seen since Monday.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, police are looking for 45-year-old Melonie Ballenger, who was last seen at her home in the at100 block of Parkwood Drive.
Wylie police said she left home without her phone and car.
Police responded early Monday morning to a missing person repor shortly before 6:30 a.m. A man said that he had not seen his wife since around 10 p.m. the previous night, Wylie police wrote on Facebook.
Officers, along with K-9 units, have already conducted initial searches, but a larger, coordinated search operation is set to take place today in the nearby areas.
Authorities are advising the public against conducting any independent search efforts, FOX 4 reports.
She’s described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall with brown hair, She might have been wearing a purple tank top when she disappeared.
