VERDICT WATCH: Accused Delphi Killer’s Fate Now in Hands of Jury

Accused Delphi killer Richard Allen’s fate is in the hands of an Indiana jury as deliberations into his double murder trial begins.

“I think we all want justice,” Piper Hanan, of Noblesville, told NBC 13. “I think that would be the ideal endpoint.”

As CrineOnline previously reported, the bodies of  teen girls Abby Williams and Libby German were found near the Monon High Bridge in 2017, in Delphi. Richard Allen, is accused of their murders.

After 17 days of testimony, the prosecution and defense began their closing arguments at 9 a.m. The jury will now  decide whether to convict Allen of murdering 13-year-old Abby and 14-year-old Libby.

The jury left the courthouse shortly after 3:30 p.m. on Thursday and will resume deliberations at 9 a.m. on Friday.
