A 70-year-old New Hampshire man has been arrested in Florida on charges of child sexual assault.
The Campton, New Hampshire, Police Department said it began investigating David Duncan after receiving reports of sexual assaults against children in June.
Duncan was last known to be living in Bradenton, Florida, the department said, where investigators believe he was homeless. They contacted Bradenton police for assistance in finding him.
“In September, Detectives from Bradenton, FL, located Duncan living in a vehicle and established a cordial relationship with him to keep tabs on him,” the department said.
Campton Police secured warrants for Duncan’s arrest last week, and Bradenton Police took him into custody. He has been charged with six counts of aggravated sexual assault on a child, two counts of pattern aggravated sexual assault on a child, and one count of sexual assault.
Duncan is being held in the Manatee County jail in Florida awaiting extradition to New Hampshire.
