The husband of a missing 46-year-old woman, who left their Texas home without her phone or car, is speaking out while search efforts continue.
As CrimeOnline previously reported, Daniel Ballenger reported his wife Melonie Ballenger missing at around 6:35 a.m. on November 4, according to Wylie Police Department.
According to CBS News, Daniel said that he last saw Melonie when they went to bed on November 3. He discovered her missing the following morning.
“She left with nothing,” he stated.
On Thursday, police confirmed to People Magazine that Melonie was last seen at her home around 10 p.m. on Sunday.
While speaking with ABC 8, Daniel said that he and their daughters searched for her, but after failing to find her, he contacted the police.
“I love her . I hope she’s safe,” he said. “Her daughters [are] missing her and we just want her back. Please come home.”
Police previously indicated that Melonie left home without her phone or car, but Daniel Ballenger added that she also did not take her wallet, cash, or necessary medication.
According to Daniel, she had a heart surgery scheduled. Relatives said she stayed home on Sunday because she was feeling ill.
Search teams have combed through wooded areas, ponds, and neighborhoods surrounding the family’s residence, but have yet to locate her.
Melonie is described as standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall with brown hair, She might have been wearing a purple tank top when she disappeared.
