The search continues for a 6-year-old Ohio boy who reportedly vanished from his home on Wednesday.
Joshua Al-Lateef Jr., who is autistic and nonverbal, vanished from his West Chester Township apartment. The Cincinnati Tribune reported that he is drawn to water and parks and may not respond to his name.
WXIX reported that Al-Lateef’s older brother contacted authorities regarding the boy’s disappearance. Police have expanded their search beyond the eight lakes located near his home.
Police said they do not believe foul play is involved in Al-Lateef’s disappearance.
Al-Lateef was described as standing 4 feet tall and weighing 44 pounds. He was reportedly last seen wearing a tan shirt, tan pants, black New Balance shoes, and a jacket.
Anyone with information regarding his whereabouts is asked to call West Chester police at 513-777-2231.
