DEVELOPING: AMBER ALERT Issued for Abducted 7-Year-Old Boy Whose Dad Was Found Shot in Home

An Amber Alert was issued on Monday in Colorado for a 7-year-old boy who was reportedly abducted.

Crystal Denmon, 26, allegedly took Uriah Saye Jr. from a Lakewood apartment. Officers who reportedly responded to the apartment found Saye’s father shot and the boy missing, according to KUSA.

Denmon is considered the suspect in Monday’s abduction and shooting. Police said that Denmon and Saye are not related, according to KUSA.

Denmon was described as standing 5 feet, 2 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes. Saye was described as standing 4 feet, 8 inches tall, weighing 78 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes.

The pair is believed to be traveling in a 2012 White Ford Focus with a Colorado temporary tag reading 6812186.

Reports indicated that the shooting victim is being treated at the hospital. His relationship to Denmon was not disclosed.
