Georgia Father Kills Parents and 14-Year-Old Son in Triple Homicide

Chatham County police in Georgia arrested a man after he allegedly killed three family members Friday morning.

Junior Thomas Babcock, 42, is facing three counts of murder for the shooting deaths of his parents and his 14-year-old son at their home on Quacco Trail.

At around 9 a.m. on Friday, CCPD officers arrived at the home and found three people dead from apparent gunshot wounds. Detectives soon followed and took Babcock into custody.

The victims have been identified as the defendant’s parents, Connie and Daniel Babcock, and his son, LJ Babcock.

On Saturday afternoon, WTOC interviewed a family member after the murders.

We’ve lost two special people and not counting little junior, the son. I mean he was doing so good. We just really want answers,” Connie and Daniel Babcock’s nephew, Redgie Oglesby, said.

Information on the incident is currently limited, but police said they no additional arrests are expected.
