A 44-year-old Virginia woman has been arrested and charged with engaging in a murder for hire plot that was to also include a robbery.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office revealed few details but said Gennevieve McGhee met with a “confidential source” on Tuesday, and the conversation was recorded.

“During the exchange, McGhee allegedly discussed detailed plans regarding payment arrangements and provided instructions for carrying out the robbery and murder,” the sheriff’s office said. “According to the evidence, McGhee gave detailed instructions how she wanted this carried out.”

McGhee was arrested on Wednesday and charged with criminal solicitation of a murder and conspiracy to commit a felony and is being held without bond.
