Six people were arrested in a sex trafficking operation in Illinois targeting people soliciting children in commercial sex acts.
Illinois State Police said the operation took place on December 4 and 5 in the Rockford area, KCRG reported.
Five of the people arrested were Illinois residents, and the sixth was from Wisconsin. All were charged with indecent solicitation of a child/aggravated sex, traveling to a meet a child, and solicitation to meet a child of at least 5 years of age. No further details about the operation or charges were released.
Arrested were Nathan D. Hayes, 31; Lavonte D. Allen, 32; Jon D. Juhlin, 58; Harry J. Hulmes III, 57; Carlos A. Rivera, 50; and Gerald L. Hochastatter, 71. Hochastatter was the one man from out of state.
