3 Women Dead in Triple Shooting in Ohio

Columbus Police are investigation after three women were found shot to death in a home on the city’s south side Saturday afternoon.

Sgt. James Fuqua told WBNS that officers were called to the home shortly before 4 p.m. by a 911 caller who reported finding friends inside in medical distress. Police arrived, and the women were reported dead almost immediately.

Police said Sunday they were all fatally shot, but they have not released their identities.

“This time of year — anytime of the year it’s unfortunate when someone loses their life, but particularly this time of the year during the holidays it’s going to be very difficult for these victim’s families to come to the grips that these family members will no longer be in their lives,” Fuqua said.

No suspects are in custody, and police have not said if they’ve identified a suspect. They are working to figure how what led to the shooting.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Columbus Police Homicide Unit at 614-645-4730 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS (8477).
