Teen Students Report Louisiana Teacher for Alleged Sex Crimes

A Lutcher High School teacher in Louisiana has been arrested for alleged sex crimes involving two teenagers.

On Friday, the St. James Parish Sheriff’s Office arrested Dwayne Thomasee, 50, of Gonzales, Louisiana, on two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and two counts of misdemeanor sexual battery, according to WDSU.

The arrest stems from incidents that occurred between August and November 2024, which were reported by the teens earlier this month.

According to WAFB, Thomasee was Lutcher High School’s assistant football coach and has been placed on administrative leave.

Thomasee’s bond was set at $5,000.

According to WDSU, Thomasee has since bonded out of jail.
