A 15-year-old Tennessee boy has been charged with criminal homicide in the death of another teen outside a Nashville nightclub earlier this month.
The Metro Nashville Police Department said Yariel Sandoval was arrested Wednesday night in Clarksville.
The shooting took place on December 1 outside an after-hours club on Murfreesboro Pike. Ashley Dominguez, sitting in the back seat of a vehicle, was hit by gunfire. Two other women, both 19, were wounded, and two more people in the car at the time were not physically harmed.
Dominguez was taken to Vanderbilt University Hospital, where she died. The two wounded women were treated and released.
Witnesses told police there had been a heated argument before gunfire erupted, and police said video of the shooting helped them identify Sandoval. More arrests may be forthcoming.
Investigators have not said what prompted the argument or the shooting.
