Georgia Cops Hunt for Boyfriend of Woman Found Shot Dead in Ditch

Police in Georgia are looking for the boyfriend of a woman found shot to death in a ditch Tuesday afternoon.

The Roswell Police Department said Roberto Dominguez Soto, 49, is considered armed and dangerous and is wanted by Interpol on firearms charges. They have secured a warrant for his arrest for the murder of 47-year-old Blanca Sauer.

Sauer’s body was found by a passerby shortly after 3 p.m. on Tuesday. Police believe she was shot elsewhere and her body dumped into the ditch.

“This is a heartbreaking situation, especially during the holiday season, and our hearts go out to the family and loved ones of Ms. Sauer,” said Roswell Police Chief James Conroy. “We are committed to bringing justice to those affected by this senseless act of targeted violence.”

Soto is described as 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 170 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information should contact the Roswell Police Department immediately at 770-640-4100. Anonymous information can be provided through Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS(8477) or online at www.StopCrimeATL.org.
