2 Children, Adult Found Dead; Cops Looking for Convicted Felon ‘Person of Interest’

Police in Wisconsin are looking for a convicted felon after two children and an adult were found dead at a home in New Lisbon.

New Lisbon Police say Juneau and Monroe County deputies began investigating a missing juvenile on Sunday. The juvenile was last seen with 47-year-old Virgil Thew, the convicted felon.

New Lisbon Police joined the investigation early Monday morning and learned that a second juvenile was also missing, and soon investigators from Wisconsin Probaton and Parole, Necedah Police Department, Mauston Police Department, and the Wisconsin State Police joined as well.

Late Monday afternoon, two juveniles and an adult were found dead in a home in New Lisbon.

Thew is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored down coat, blue jeans, and a hat. He should be considered armed and dangerous.

Police have not released the identities of the victims, how they died, or how they are connected with Thew, who is serving a 14-year probation for a burglary and has also been categorized as a habitual criminal, according to the Wausau Pilot & Review.
