Sean “Diddy” Combs is allegedly upset that accused UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione is getting more attention than he is as they await trial at the same New York jail.
A source told the Daily Mail that Combs “has been throwing tantrums” about Mangione being more liked among the inmates at Metropolitan Center in Brooklyn. Combs is reportedly proclaiming his innocence while he gets hate from other prisoners who admire Mangione and see him as a hero.

“Luigi [Mangione] is getting all of the attention in prison and is being revered as a hero after literally murdering someone on camera,” the source said. “Even in prison, Diddy’s ego is bigger than life.”
Combs has been jailed on federal sex trafficking charges since September. His trial is set for May.
Meanwhile, Mangione has pleaded not guilty to fatally shooting Brian Thompson in Manhattan on December 4. Mangione, who was arrested in Pennsylvania days after the shooting, was allegedly in possession of a gun with a silencer, fake IDs, and a 262-word “manifesto” that decried the healthcare industry as “parasites.”
Shortly after Mangione’s arrest, New York officials held a press coverage in which they hinted at the motive in Thompson’s murder. NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said Mangione, a data engineer with a master’s from the University of Pennsylvania, “has some ill will towards corporate America.”
