Kentucky police have asked for the public’s help locating a woman who vanished late last month.
The Ledger Independent reported that Eugenia Cooley, 47, was last seen at her Maysville apartment on December 20 or 21, 2024. Detective Ryan Hull said they are reviewing surveillance footage of Cooley from December 2, and they have not recovered evidence indicating her disappearance is related to substance abuse or mental health issues.
“It looks like she had put some of her personal property in a garbage can right outside of her apartment which, you know, it sounds bad but we still don’t know,” Hull said.
According to Hull, someone saw her leaving her apartment.
Cooley was described as 5 feet 7 inches tall and having brown hair and brown eyes.
Anyone with information on Cooley’s whereabouts should call the Maysville Police Department at 606-564-9411.
