BOLO: Police Seek Tips on New York Man Missing Since Thanksgiving

New York State Police in Binghamton are looking for 68-year-old man believed to have vanished around Thanksgiving.

Edward Crampton’s family reported him missing on January 3 after losing contact with him during the holiday season. Crampton typically stayed in his vehicle on Old Route 17 near ARS Auto in Windsor.

According to News 34, police indicated that he often walked to Mirabito or the Big M, but he hasn’t been spotted there in several weeks. His vehicle was found parked on Old Route 17. Family members said he doesn’t drive the vehicle.

Crampton likely does not have a working cellphone at this time, police said.

Police visited local shelters and hospitals, but their efforts to locate him have been unsuccessful.

Crampton is described as a white male who stands 5 feet, 7 inches tall, with green eyes and grey hair.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts should contact New York State Police at (607)561-7400. Refer to Case NY2500007115.
