A 24-year-old Texas man has been charged with choking his 7-year-old brother to death when an argument turned violent.
Brandon Garza also allegedly punched his younger brother several times in the face and threw him to the floor before pinning him down and choking him until he passed out, ValleyCentral.com reported.
Police were called to the scene after 3 a.m. on Thursday and found Garza with a blood stain on his shirt and forehead.
First responders attempted to save the boy, and he was taken to McAllen Medical Hospital, where he died.
Garza has been charged with capital murder and ordered held on a $2 million bond.
