A man was arrested on Tuesday, a day after he allegedly stabbed a woman to death at her north Georgia home.
Brian Moree was accused of killing Adrina Long, 28, in Whitfield County on Monday. The Times Free Press reported that the woman died at the scene, and Moree fled on foot.
A responding deputy said they spotted a man walking out the front door before discovering Long’s body in the home. Moree was apprehended four hours later in the woods, according to WAGA.
Officials have not disclosed the relationship between Moree and Long. A motive remains undisclosed.
Moree is being held at Whitfield County Jail on a murder charge.
