Michigan Dad Joins Mom With Lengthy Prison Sentence in Death of 14-Month-Old Son

The father of a 14-month-old Michigan baby was sentenced last week to 15 to 70 years in prison for the boy’s death.

Isaias Aurelio Porras and the baby’s mother, Amanda Jajou, were arrested in October 2021 after police found Isaias Daniel Porras dead at the Farmington Hills motel where the family had been living on September 30, 2021, WDIV reported.

Family members had requested a welfare check on the boy.

Jajou was charged with second degree murder, second degree child abuse and accessory after the crime and was sentenced last year to 15 to 60 years in prison.

Porraswas charged with first degree child abuse and felony murder.
