North Carolina Man Calls Cops After He Beats His Wife to Death

A North Carolina man beat his wife to death Tuesday morning and then called police to say he’d done it.

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office said that Clarence Dobbs Pinckney, 68, was arrested and charged with first degree murder, WCNC reported.

Pinckney called in the murder at about 10:30 a.m. Deputies arrived and took the killer into custody without incident.

He’s being held without bond.
