OnlyFans model and Instagram influencer Courtney Clenney called 911, reporting that her boyfriend had been stabbed and was bleeding profusely.
Clenney was later arrested for his murder. She claimed she feared Christian Obumseli would hurt her and threw a knife at him in self-defense. The knife lodged in his chest, killing him.
An attorney for Clenney stated that the 25-year-old “was a victim of physical, emotional, and mental abuse at the hands of Obumseli” and acted in self-defense. The couple had been dating for about two years and lived in the apartment building for several months.
Police reported responding to multiple calls from the apartment, and apartment staff noted numerous domestic incidents, even attempting to evict the couple.
Friends of the couple expressed disbelief that Obumseli could have been violent toward Clenney, stating they had witnessed Clenney hitting Obumseli but had never seen him hit her.
In a recent courtroom development, Clenney’s defense team introduced a video of an expert throwing knives at a pig carcass. The defense argued that the pig’s skin and tissue mimic human tissue to test the theory that Obumseli’s death occurred as Clenney described.
