A 39-year-old Missouri man has been arrested and charged with raping a 5-year-old girl.

Chase Reed is in the Newton County jail awaiting arraignement on charges of statutory sodomy and statutory rape, KSNF reported.

Court records say the child was interviewed at the Children’s Center and told investigators Reed touched her “bad spots” and hurt her while he was raping her and that there were multiple incidents.

The girl said he used his fingers as well as his penis and whispered to her during the assaults. She said he was ask her if it “felt good” while he raped her.

KSNF did not say how police learned of the allegations.

Reed has denied the accusations and is being held without bond.
