NH Man Charged With 40 Counts Related to Child Rape; Girlfriend Also Indicted

A 26-year-old New Hampshire man has been indicted on dozens of counts related the the sexual assault of multiple children.

Alexander Haggie was initially arrested in October 2024 but was indicted this week on 40 counts, including aggravated felonious sexual assault, witness tampering, and assault, the Manchester Police Department said.

He’s being held on preventative detention before a scheduled arraignment on February 24.

Police did not release any information about Haggie’s victims.

His girlfriend, 29-year-old Nicole Menard, was arrested in November in connection with the investigation and released on a $500 bail. She was indicted on two counts of witness tampering and one count of endangering the welfare of a child in connection with one of Haggie’s victims. Her arraignment is scheduled for February 21.

Haggie’s charges: 3 counts of pattern aggravated felonious sexual assault, 9 counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, 3 counts of witness tampering, 2 counts of indecent exposure to a child under 16, 4 counts of endangering child by soliciting sex, 2 counts of assault/strangulation, 2 counts of criminal threatening conduct, 1 count of criminal threatening, 2 counts of sexual assault, 1 count of prohibited use of computer services, 1 count of transmitting a lewd image to a child under 16, 1 count of gross lewdness in the presence of a child under 16, and 1 count of simple assault.
